Each year teams will be chosen from the best players around the country who attend our Invitational Camps.
Players from 16 up to the age of 19 can be selected to join our tours in late December playing against US High School teams. These tours are intended for players to experience basketball in the US at its highest level and also provide exposure for future college opportunities.
These tours are extremely beneficial for younger players to realise what it takes to make it to the highest level and motivate them to reach these heights. For the 18 and19 year olds it is a great opportunity to experience a trip of a lifetime and receive exposure for US College scholarships. College coaches and scouts are at attendance at all of the tournaments that we participate in.

TYPICAL TOUR ITINERARY
Generally the tour would last for 3 to a maximum of 4 weeks playing between 9 and 14 games in this time.
The tour starts with a training camp at Impact Academy in Las Vegas followed by participating in the IMPACT WEST COAST CHALLENGE against other US High School teams and teams from around the world.
Then we head off to play in various other tournaments. Tournaments are a great way to play 3 to 5 games in a short period of time and then spending a few days on recovery and free time. We attend college practice sessions, college basketball games and NBA games as well as general sightseeing and shopping opportunities.

Dec 5th to 8th : Impact West Coast Challenge, Las Vegas
Dec 9th to 11th : Training at Phoenix Suns & games in Phoenix
Dec 12th to 15th : Impact East Coast Challenge, Florida
Dec 16th – 18th : Sightseeing in LA
Dec 19th – 21st : Foothills Tournament , Las Vegas
Dec 22nd : Return to Australia
· NBA & College schedules are not known until early August and will be added at that stage.
 
NEW POST GRAD TOUR AGE GROUP
As of 2011 we will also be running a POST GRAD tour for 18 to 21 year olds.
THE IMPACT EAST COAST & WEST COAST CHALLENGE will be a great opportunity for college prospects to play in a high level international tournament with college coaches and scouts present.
The tournaments we will play in will be extremely high standard with some of the top teams from the US and elsewhere in the world participating. We will also schedule a few one off games against prep colleges as well.

TEAM SELECTION - POST GRAD TEAM
Players simply need to apply to us to be considered for this team. The 10 strongest players to apply will be selected. The team will be announced in July.
In your application include playing experiences and references. Players need to be playing at a minimum of high representative level. Past State representation will be a bonus but not essential.
Some players may need to schedule an individual or group try out with one of our tour selectors to be considered.

COSTS
All travel costs will need to be met by the players. A full information pack will be provided to those selected to the team and the reserves. At the moment for 2011 we would expect the travel costs to be approximately $5000 to $6000 plus food and spending money. When our itinerary is finalized we will be able to provide a more accurate costing. Final itinerary and costs will be known by June 30th. Contact us for more information.
TEAM SELECTION
Anyone between the ages of 15 and 18 is welcome to try out but must have attended one of our Invitational camps. If you wish to be considered for selection simply advise us when you attend the camp.
 
GIRLS TOUR 2012
We are currently looking into possibly running a girls tour in July 2012. This tour would be run by Dandenong Rangers Star and former Duke University Captain Jess Foley. Any girls who are interested please contact us. We will have more information available soon.
